Yard Sales are not explicitly covered by the Meadows HOA bylaws, however implicitly, any community activity is expected to be carried out in a manner consistant with the Meadows bylaws regarding the maintenance and aesthetic value of individual lots as well as to be generally courteous and conscientious of your surrounding neighbors and the community as a whole. Below you will find the Board's recommendations regarding yard sales.
Individual Yard Sales
Individual yard sales are permitted provided that all signs advertising the sale are promptly removed within 24 hours of the sale end, including all tape and/or string used for adhering signs. Signs may be placed 24 hours prior to a sale beginning and may not interfere with a driver's line of sight; special care should be taken when placing signs at intersections. Individuals wishing to hold an individual yard sale should give notice of the event to the Board through Conway Management Co at least two weeks prior to the sale.
Community Yard Sales
The Meadows HOA Board would love to hold one or two community yard sales each year if there is interest from our residents. Community yard sales are traditionally more successful for homeowners and allow the community some notice regarding the potential of increased traffic in the neighborhood. Homeowners wishing to participate in a community yard sale should email the Board through Conway Management Co so that coordination of such an event can be investigated and potentially arranged.
