No signs, flags, banners or hangings of any character shall be erected, or displayed upon, any lot, with the exception of the American flag and the state flag, and temporary real estate signs.  For Sale or For Rent signs are permitted, provided they meet the following guidelines:

• Signs should be no larger than six (6) square feet.

• Signs should be erected on posts of sufficient strength to avoid bending or warping.

• Signs should stand no more than four (4) feel above the ground.

• No more than one sign shall be erected on any given property.

• Signs should be maintained in good condition.

• Off-site signs are permitted only at the entrance to cul-de-sacs and only one sign is allowed at that intersection.

• Off-site signs shall remain standing only during the hours of an open house.
